Re: Encryption export: source code is protected speech!



I'm pleased too, but I think it's a shame that two arguments are getting
mixed up. One is about the right to privacy, right to encrypt your data.

And the dother is about a programmer expressing himself through his code.
(1st amendment).

This reminds me of the medicinal-marijuana debate. Although I am in favor
of both medicinal marijana and leagalizing POT, those are two discinct
issues which shouldn't be confused. They are only remotely related.
