I think it's a wonderful idea. Bob and I have agreed that we'd be happy to
put up people at our place. We've got two sofabeds, plus floor space that
y'all are welcome to.
I'm up for the prank, too. I had thought of doing something like that myself,
after the first few e-mails, but I didn't have Bill's inside knowledge of the
one Bevan himself had planned to pull. Since Bill mentioned that, then that's
the obvious choice. Unless we wanted to do both in one weekend....
{Lightbulb} Wait, Bill, this prank, that involves beer, would that be the
one that the three of us checked out its feasibility one night last spring?
Maybe I do know what it is after all....

I'll be working on my additions to the note tonight, and will post them to
the list as soon as they compile. Give me a few hours; I hope you'll find
them worthwhile.

I know Bob already did the empty quote, but I had to reiterate it, because
of what it reminded me of. You may have already seen the Looney Tunes
poster comemorating the passing of Mel Blanc. If not, there's a copy on
the web here:

The feeling I get seeing that poster is the same one I get seeing the empty
subscript quote above.
