Great letter! The precedent set by this sort of legal action could really
alter the face of the Internet -- from a level playing field where
every website is equally viewable, to one more like televsion where a few
in power control everything. (I know portals already are causing this, but
that's another story)

This is particularly of concern to me, because there are various companies
out there with the name 'Carhart' which might try to grap carhart.com from me.

They'd actually have more legal and technical reason to, although it would 
still suck.
